There’s no bigger place on the internet and no place easier to find targeted traffic than myspace.

Hard to believe? Not if you really look at what you’ve got at myspace.

You have over 215 MILLION users, and new people signing up every single day.

You have access to search functions and browse functions so you can find exactly the people you are looking for. Finding targeted traffic at myspace is really like shooting fish in a barrel.

Whether you want to do it by hand, or use a myspace friend adder, finding targeted myspace friends is as easy as knowing who you are looking for.

The most important thing about getting targeted traffic from myspace is only getting friends that are targeted to your particular niche, or target market.

People have a huge problem with this, deciding on a target market. It seems people think they or their product can help EVERYONE. However, when you are talking to everyone, you are really talking to NO ONE. You have to decide on your market. The more targeted YOU are, the easier it will be to find and talk to those people. Especially if your story matches their story, your problems match their problems and eventually your solution matches what could solve their problems.

So please, decide on who you want to talk to, it doesn’t matter who, but you have to decide, and make your target market rather small. There are probably at least 5000 people on myspace for anything you could possibly think of. Do you think 5000 people who know, like and trust you could help your business? I do.

So don’t go for everyone go for a particular person. Figure out what they do for a living, how wealthy they are, what they do for fun, if they have kids. Build a complete picture of that person.

Once you have a good picture of that person, and hopefully they have something in common with you, so it will be easy to talk to them. You can start finding them on myspace. IF you are using Friend Blaster Pro you can do it quickly and with access to all the search functions available in myspace. You can use the browse feature, or do a keyword search via the search function.

Find those people who are EXACTLY who you are looking for, there are plenty. You can afford to be picky.

Once you have very targeted friends it’s easy to send a targeted message.

I only realized this after I had a mish mash of friends and started using friend blaster pro to send out comments. I frequently send out breastfeeding comments, since that’s one of my niches.

I realized I had men, and non breastfeeders in my friends list and it made it very difficult to send a targeted message. Once I weeded out all the non breastfeeders I could quickly and easily stay in touch and build relationships with my friends using a myspace friend adder.

If they messaged me back I could then begin a one on one conversation with them, but the friend adder software makes it easy to get your targeted message out to the masses, so you can start one on one conversations with only those who are interested.

This in other words, is very targeted traffic from my myspace friends. No rejection, no yuckiness, just two people trying to get to know each other, and me possibly solving a problem they may have. Try it, it works.

I hear it at least once a day, myspace marketing is dead. This just isn’t true. Running into myspace with your affiliate links and network marketing opportunity blazing and expecting results ~ yeah that’s dead, but marketing at myspace is alive and well if you do it right.

How to do myspace marketing the right way.

Write your profile using the my story marketing method.

Add a large group of targeted friends either by hand or with a myspace friend adder.

Send a message completely non business related with your friend request. (which you can do automatically with Friend Blaster Pro)

Add your friends blog to your subscribe list

Send your friends comments and messages

Continue to build relationships with your friends. Talk to them, get to know them, build trust.

Write blog posts relevant to your niche/product/business but not directly selling what you have. Make sure your blog post has something useful to your friends, and add a link naturally in the conversation.

Send a bulletin to your myspace friends with a link to your blog post.

Do whatever you can to help your myspace friends.

Send more comments and more messages, write more blog posts and send more bulletins. Each time you do any of these things is another opportunity for your friends to read your well written profile and find an answer to the problem they have.

If you have a great call to action in your profile your phone and email should be burning up.

Now if you don’t believe me this relationship building myspace marketing works, I dare you to try it.

Start a new myspace page, get a great myspace friend adder, build your friends list and give it a go. Follow these directions for a month and see what happens.

Come back here and let me know how it worked out for you.

If you are doing myspace marketing I hope you know it’s all about building relationships. Myspace is a social community. I have never met anyone who came to myspace looking to buy a product or join a business, with that said, people do it all the time!!

It happens by adding myspace friends and building relationships with your new found friends.

You can add friends manually or you can use a myspace friend adder. Either will work, but one will cut time expended by at least half. If you are looking for a good myspace friend adder take a look at this review of Friend Blaster Pro.

Now you have a large list of myspace friends, how are you going to stay in touch and build a relationship with them? Easy. Myspace messaging.

You can actually use myspace messaging to start your relationship before you become friends with someone. You can send them a message with a friend request. Friend Blaster Pro will allow you to do this automatically, but you can also do it manually one friend at a time.

When you send a message with a friend request, please, please please, don’t say anything about your business, or your product. No ONE is looking to join a business at myspace. If you start off with business stuff they will assume that is all they will hear from you and decline your friend request. I certainly do.

Mention why you chose them as a friend, if you used keywords to find them, mention you have that in common, whether it’s attachment parenting or being a Giants Fan. Show them there’s a good reason why you should be friends.

If you have written your myspace profile using the my story marketing method they will know you have a business and will ask you about it if they are interested.

You can continue to use myspace messaging to build your relationships by sending messages hello, or have a great weekend, any way to touch base with them. If you read your friends blogs (and you should) you can send a comment about a blog post, or answer a question they may have been asking.

There are tons of ways to use myspace messaging to connect with your friends, the most important thing is USE IT.

If you don’t use it, and you don’t connect with your friends they will not be open to doing business with you at all. If you have built trust and friendship and you offer what you have as a solution to their problem you will find people are much more open to listening to what you have to say.

Your myspace blog is one of the few places you can still place an affiliate link on your myspace page, so use it to your advantage.

When I say use it to your advantage I mean, don’t sell from your blog, tell stories, let people get to know you even better. If you tell stories people will be much more likely to click on your affiliate links than if you try to sell them.

You have hopefully been growing your relationships with your myspace friends through messaging and comments, this is yet another chance to grow your relationship as well as put some money in your pocket.

I often use my mypsace blog as a way to send people to my niche blog. I do this by just putting a link at the bottom of the blog post. The topics I blog about both on myspace and on my niche blog are the same or similar so this works very well.

This is also another reason why it’s a good idea to add niche related friends. You can start as many myspace profiles as you need to cover your niches. If you are using a myspace friend adder you can also use it across all your accounts to add friends, so there’s no reason why you aren’t being choosy about your friends.

Once you’ve made a useful blog post, go ahead and send a bulletin out to your friends and let them know you’ve posted.

Another great way to get myspace blog readers is to add your friends’ blogs to your subscribed list. When people see you have subscribed to their blog they will often times subscribe to yours. When people subscribe they are notified each time you post a blog.

It’s all about creating relationships and getting to know people. Who knows, by reading other myspace blogs you may find a great way to answer a question in a blog post of your own, or maybe you think of a great product to answer those questions!

Get out there, blog at myspace, add friends and get to know them.

I’m assuming you have a nice list of myspace friends now. If you don’t, I suggest you use a myspace friend adder to grow your friends list.

As you add myspace friends and once you have a fairly large group of friends you will want to stay connected with them and build a relationship with them. When you are trying to do business on myspace creating and maintaining a relationship with your friends list is imperative. In fact, there’s really no other way to do it.

There are many ways to create and build a relationship, but one of the best ways is use myspace comments. Myspace comments are nice little messages you leave on your friends pages.

There are a couple of benefits to leaving comments for your friends. You get a link back to your myspace page within the comment which allows other people to find you. Most times when you leave a comment on a friend’s page they will stop by your page to say thanks, and leave you a comment as well. This gives you one more chance for them to see your message and read your story.

I use a myspace friend adder to send comments. It makes quick work of sending out hundreds of comments. You can just put the comment in the software, whether it’s just words, or a cute picture from flickr or photobucket. Once you have the comment in the software you can choose how many and/or which friends you want to send the comment.

Once you have chosen your friends to receive the comment all you do is hit the send button. The myspace friend adder software will quickly send that comment to everyone you have chosen. You may have to fill in a captcha code or two, but it will save you an enormous amount of time, and it will help you continue to build relationships with your myspace friends.

If you don’t have the software you can do it all by hand by simply going to each friend’s page and adding your comment by hand. It works, but it takes a lot of time.

If you are a marketer of any type, be it affiliate, internet or network myspace is a goldmine. You can find an almost unlimited supply of leads and customers, but you have to do it the right way.

Myspace is a fickle community. If you come in blazing your network marketing opportunity or you even sound like you are selling something people will avoid you like the plague.

There is a right way to market on myspace, and if you do it right you will be well rewarded.

Here are the eight easy steps you should follow to make sure your myspace profile will work for you and not against you.

Slide Show. At the top of your page you should include a slide show of yourself, your family, your hobbies. This allows people to get to know WHO you are, and that allows them to begin to get to know you and trust you.

Build Credibility. Let people know what you’ve done in life you are proud of. No matter what it is, someone else is sure to admire your success and/or be striving for that success as well. So whether you won a gold medal in the Olympics or go the best costume award at the Star Trek Convention put it out there.

Why are you on myspace. Now don’t tell people you are there to find leads and build your business. That won’t work. You can tell them you are there to meet like minded people to connect with. I happen to live in a conservative rural area and that makes it difficult to meet like minded people ~ that’s why I go to myspace.

Your History. What events in life have made you who you are. Share a little about your history, and what’s happened that has shaped you as a person in your life.

Your Story. This is where you tell your story. If you have tried a million business models, failed in every network marketing business, tried to build an affiliate marketing business for the last 5 years but have made no money. That’s your story, tell it. People will resonate with your story, and you will probably have a lot in common with a lot of other people.

Your solution. This is where you solve the problem that has held you back. Tell about how you solved this problem, don’t mention your company or your product, but let them know you found a solution.
